| Abstract (croatian) | Knjiga predstavlja novu biografiju skupova nalaza Vukovar i Lovas. Pojedinačna poglavlja napisali su različiti autori s različitim akademskim pozadinama, interesima, pristupima arheologiji te razinama individualne privrženosti skupovima. Poglavlja su organizirana prema biografijama predmeta. Monografija započinje odabirom sirovine i izradom predmeta, nastavlja se uporabom predmeta te završava trenutkom njihovog odlaganja u zemlju. |
| Abstract (english) | The book is an attempt to re-write the biographies of the Vukovar and Lovas assemblages. Individual chapters are written by different authors with diverse academic backgrounds, interests, approaches to archaeology, and varying levels of attachment to the assemblages. The internal structure of the volume aligns with the perceived object biographies of the two assemblages. Accordingly, the monograph begins with the selection of raw material and the production of objects, continues with the utilization of these objects, and concludes with the moment of their deposition into the ground. |
